Discipleship Pathway

A believer is someone who has made a definite profession of faith in Jesus Christ. They understand the gospel. They have repented of their sins and received Jesus’ forgiveness. And now they are trusting and believing in Him for salvation.

However, someone in the believer stage of being a disciple has taken few, if any, steps to begin living out the new life they have received from Jesus.  Their greatest need is to be taught to obey Jesus’ commands.

Some next steps to consider if you are in this stage of spiritual growth are:

1. Be baptized!
